Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

  • Installation
The cost of brick installation is always customized — it depends on the area size, the type of brick, the installation method, the layout complexity, and on-site conditions. To ensure full transparency, we provide a free on-site estimate so we can review the project together and offer an accurate proposal with no surprises.

As a general guideline, a project like an 85 sq. ft. side walkway starts at $1,600 when we supply all required materials for installation — including the pavers — and handle the removal of the existing surface along with full preparation of the area for the new installation.

    Clean and seal
As for cleaning, re sanding paver joints and sealing, pricing is typically based on square footage. On average, it starts around $1.20–$2.30 per sq ft, depending on the condition of the surface and the products used.

  • Most residential brick installation projects take between 1 to 5 business  days, depending on the size, layout, and whether any demolition or preparation work is needed. Larger or more complex projects may take longer, while smaller walkways can often be completed in just a day or two.

Our team works efficiently and in parallel across multiple projects to make sure we deliver quality results — on time.

  • Absolutely — we guide you through the entire process. During our free estimate, we discuss design ideas, layout options, and help you choose the type, color, and pattern of the brick that best fits your home, taste “style” and budget.

You don’t need to decide everything in advance — we’re here to help you make the right choices.

If you already have a photo of something you like, we can match materials and find the closest options available. You’re also welcome to visit our showroom to see samples in person, or we can guide and direct you to the local manufacturer’s showroom so you can explore their full product selection.

  • In many cases, yes — brick can be installed over existing concrete, as long as the surface is stable, properly sloped for drainage, and free of major cracks. Installing over concrete can save time and reduce demolition costs.

However, we always inspect the area during the estimate to make sure it’s a suitable base. If needed, we’ll recommend the best approach for long-term durability.

  • In South Florida’s climate — with high humidity, frequent rain, and strong sun — we typically recommend cleaning and sealing your brick pavers every 12 to 18 months.

Regular sealing helps protect the surface from mold, weeds, and fading If your pavers are exposed to heavy traffic, pool chemicals, or standing water, they may require more frequent maintenance.

We’re happy to inspect and let you know if it’s time for resealing.

  • Cleaning removes dirt, mold, algae, and surface stains — it refreshes the appearance but doesn’t protect the brick.

Sealing, on the other hand, creates a protective layer that prevents water absorption, fading, weed growth, and staining. Also enhances the current color and helps keep the mason sand in the joints.

While cleaning alone improves the look, sealing is what keeps your brick looking clean and stable over time.

For most outdoor surfaces in Florida, we highly recommend doing both for long-lasting results.

  • Without sealing, brick pavers are more vulnerable to the elements — especially in Florida’s climate. Over time, you may notice:

    • Fading from UV exposure

    • Mold and algae buildup

    • Sand erosion between the bricks

    • Weed growth

    • Water stains or oil marks (especially on driveways)

While sealing is technically optional, it significantly extends the life and appearance of your brick surface. Think of it as long-term protection for your investment.

Important note about new concrete pavers:

We do not recommend sealing newly installed concrete pavers during the first year because they need time to fully cure. During this period, stains may appear that cannot be removed later. To address this, we leave you with extra pavers so you can replace any pieces if needed.

  • We proudly serve both residential and commercial clients. Our company has dedicated crews specialized in each type of project — from elegant backyard patios to large-scale commercial driveways, entrances, and common areas.

  • You don’t need to be home for the entire process, but we do recommend being available at the start of the project to confirm details, and at the end for a final walk-through.

For cleaning and sealing, access to water and exterior outlets is usually all we need.

We always respect your property and can work independently as long as everything is agreed upon in advance.

  • Yes, we stand behind our work. All of our installation projects come with a limited 1 year workmanship warranty, covering settling or structural issues due to improper installation. With options to upgrade installation process, extending the warranty up to 5 years

For cleaning and sealing, we use professional-grade products and application methods to ensure long-lasting results. While natural wear and weathering over time are expected, we’re always available to inspect and recommend maintenance if needed.

Exact warranty terms may vary depending on the project scope and materials used.

  • Before installation begins, we recommend clearing the area of furniture, decorations, planters, or personal items. If you have irrigation lines, lighting, or other underground systems, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Our team handles all excavation and preparation work, but having the space clear helps ensure a smooth and efficient start and helps prevent damage to existing furniture
If needed, we can also assist with moving heavy items as part of the setup — just let us know during the estimate.

  • In South Florida, brick installation and sealing can be done year-round, thanks to the warm climate. However, the dry season (typically from November to April) is often ideal, especially for sealing — it allows the surface to dry properly and ensures optimal bonding.

That said, our team is fully equipped to work in all seasons. We monitor weather conditions closely and schedule projects to avoid heavy rain or extreme humidity when needed.

  • Without proper protection, yes — exposure to strong UV rays, rain, and pool chemicals can cause fading, discoloration, and surface wear over time, especially in South Florida.

To prevent this, we strongly recommend sealing your brick (1) year after installation to prevent any efflorescence (is a white, powdery substance that can appear on the surface of concrete pavers due to moisture and salts within the paver material “this can happen during the curing process of concrete pavers”. It's a natural occurrence, not a sign of damage, and often disappears on its own over time) being trapped by the sealer and resealing it every 2–3 years. High-quality sealers enhance color, block UV damage, and help your surface maintain its original appearance for years.

  • Yes, absolutely. Jobsite cleanliness is a priority for us. Once the project is complete, our crew performs a full cleanup — removing debris, excess materials, and sweeping and rinsing down the area thoroughly.

We aim to leave your property not only improved, but also clean, safe, and ready to enjoy.
Our goal is to make the transformation seamless from start to finish.

  • There are a few signs that it might be time to reseal your brick surface:

    • Faded color or dull appearance

    • Increased weed growth between bricks

    • Water no longer beads on the surface (loss of hydrophobic layer)

    • Sand erosion from joints

    • Staining from oil, rust, or organic matter

If it’s been more than 2–3 years since your last sealing, or you're noticing any of the above, it’s a good time to schedule an inspection. We can evaluate the condition and recommend the right maintenance plan.
