Lighthouse Point, FL — Old Chicago Paver Refresh & Repair. We restored this Old Chicago surface with a full clean-and-seal and targeted repairs. The team pressure-cleaned to remove loose cement, mold, dirt, and weeds; cement-grouted all joints for a solid, mortar-set finish with a traditional look; and completed an acid wash as needed to clear residual haze.
We lifted and re-set three sunken areas on a re-compacted bedding sand base, re-laid the existing pavers in their original pattern, installed new concrete edge restraint along open driveway edges, and replaced five broken pavers along the pool-deck border. After a thorough site cleanup, we applied a protective seal to enhance color and deliver a stable, even surface built to handle Florida sun and rain.
